Client Activity Report

Use this option to print a an overview or detailed report of client activity. A version of this report automatically prints when live bills are released. Estimate Report (Option 46) also reports on client activity but contains less information. Many features of this report are controlled by the profiles created in Profiles Definition on the Admin Menu. This option also lets you track changes to estimates using a revision level. Refer to Tracking Changes Using Revision Levels. To create a set of report selection settings that you can reuse, see Report Preferences. To request the report:

  1. Select Reports | Client Activity Report.

Client Activity Report Prompt

  1. Key a Client code, Client Group code or click the All Clients check box to display a check. For a client group or all clients request, click the Combine Clients check box if you want the client information combined.

  2. Key a Product code, Product Group code or click the All Products check box to display a check. For a product group or all products request, click the Combine Products check box if you want the product information combined.

  3. If a product group is keyed, indicate how it is to be used by selecting from the Use Product Group as drop down list.

  1. Key a Media code, Media Group code or click the All Media check box to display a check. For a media group or all media request, click the Combine Media check box if you want the media information combined.

  2. Key an Estimate code, Estimate Group code or click the All Estimates check box to display a check. For a estimate group or all estimates request, click the Combine Estimates check box if you want the estimate information combined.

  3. To limit the report, key a Market code, Market Group code or click the All Markets check box to display a check. For a market group or all markets request, click the Combine Markets check box if you want the market information combined.

  4. Calendar Code  – Choose the calendar code to use and that is set up in the Central Database. Using this code allows you to create reports based on a custom calendar that may vary from a more traditional calendar date range.

  5. If you did not key a specific estimate, key the starting and ending dates for the data to be included on the report.

  6. Make any additional selections. Click the <Fields> button at the bottom of this help page for more information on the remaining fields.

  7. To override default profile selections from Profiles Definition for the current report request, click <Profiles> and refer to Client Activity Report Profiles.

  8. To add a cover page with comments see  Special Comments Entering.

  9. Complete the Report Formatting Options and click <Submit> to submit the report request.
