Create Snapshot

Use the Create Snapshot option to save a record of a buy and/or goals at a specific moment in time. You may create multiple snapshots of the same buy and/or goals at various times and for either Active or Proposed buys. Once a snapshot is created you may print the details on the Product Detail Report and the Post-Buy Product Detail Report or, for buy details only, on the Buy Detail Report, Schedule Summary Report or Post-Buy Item Report. You may not create a snapshot of a pool buy - Product of (NA).

To create a snapshot of a buy, select Planning & Buying | Create Snapshot.

Create Snapshot Window

  1. Key the Media, Client, Product and Estimate for the buy

    or

    Key a Campaign ID.

  2. Key the Market or select the All Markets check box to include all markets in this snapshot.

  3. Type a Snapshot Code under which this snapshot will be saved. Then, type a Snapshot Description for this code.

  4. Select the Status of buys to be included on this snapshot: Active or Proposed.

  5. To include goals in the snapshot, select the Copy Goals check box. If there are no buys with the selected status, the snapshot will contain only goals.

  6. Accept or change the Report Formatting Options to be used for the Snapshot Turnaround report.

  7. Click <Submit> to submit your request.

  8. Click the Reports icon in the Broadcast toolbar to view the report.
