Post-Buy Item Report

The Post-Buy Item Report helps you assess buy performance by comparing purchased gross rating points (GRPs) with affidavit achieved GRPs on a spot-by-spot, item-by-item detail level. Results are shown as lost or gained ratings points and the affidavit points are indexed against the purchased points, providing both a numerical and a percentage perspective. Daypart achievement summaries are also included for each station and market.

Nielsen supplies individual week records for every day/quarter hour so when posting an affidavit spot that falls within the Nielsen survey, an individual week record will be used.  The Post-Buy Item Report will display a ‘W’ in the A/W/S/O/P column to indicate that an individual week statistic was retrieved.  An ‘S’ will still display, if the individual week was special programming for this survey.  If the affidavit spot falls outside the survey, the program will continue to use the average record in the survey.

This Post-Buy Item Report option can also be used to print a report for a Buy Snapshot created using the Create Snapshot feature.

Note: If you are using variable weeks, you may choose to combine estimates on this report even if they have different Week Start Days. However, this could cause difficulty in differentiating between Tuesday and Thursday and between Saturday and Sunday on the report.
