Introduction to Buy Module

The Buy Module allows you to plan and enter buys in a worksheet format. If necessary, create "what if" scenarios using proposed buys, then make the buys active so they can be trafficked, billed and paid.  For more information on proposed and active statuses, refer to Buy Status.

When you select Buying|Buy Module, there is a short delay while a Java applet loads. Unlike other PRINT options, the Buy Module consists of several related tabs that work together. On these tabs, a button turns dark when you click it to indicate that you should wait for the process to complete.

Note: If toggling to either the Change Office or Home function while the applet is open, a webpage message displays. The message reminds you that the applet is open and if you press <OK>, the applet will close and any unsaved data will be lost. To remain in the applet, click <Cancel>.

Note: If you happen to click anywhere on the screen when an error message box is displayed, the error message is no longer displayed. However, you must click <OK> on the box before you may continue. To display the error box, minimize all programs until you see it.
