Ad Hoc Detailed Request

When this detailed Request window displays, fill in the required fields.

Ad Hoc Inquiry Prompt Window

If you check any of the ”All” fields, leave the specific fields and groups blank.

  1. Select a View from the dropdown menu.

  2. Among the Additional Options, choose from Include, Exclude and Only.

  3. You may click the checkbox to use the previous collection.

  4. Equivalency fields are optional.

  5. Specify Start/End Date range if Estimate is blank

  6. Click the Next icon to display the requested information.

  7. For users who make large requests for data, click <Submit> to allow the inquiry to run in the background without having to remain in the option. This allows users to use other parts of the system while waiting for the inquiry to finish processing. After processing, users can return to the option and use the Previous Collection function to view the report

Field

Description

View

Choose from the Standard (default), Personal, and Office views. The Standard views are: Buying, Acct Receivable, Acct Payable, and Projected Billable.

Client

Required. Key one client or client group or click All Clients (leave other fields blank)

Product

Required. Key one product or product group for this client or click All Products (leave other fields blank).

Media

Required. Key one media code or media group code or click All Media (leave other fields blank).

Estimate

Required. Key one estimate or estimate group or click All Estimates (leave other fields blank).

Market

Required. Key one market or market group or click All Markets (leave other fields blank).

Vendor

Required. Key one vendor or vendor group or click All Vendors (leave other fields blank).

Activity Dates

Required in some cases. Key or select from the calendar icon the activity start and end dates.

Calendar Code

Choose the calendar code to use and that is set up in the Central Database. Using this code allows you to create reports based on a custom calendar that may vary from a more traditional calendar date range. Note: If a Calendar Code is used, the Insertion Dates must fall within the dates set up for the selected Calendar.

Scheduled Payment Date

Required in some cases.  Key or select from the calendar icon the Payment start and end dates.

Paid Dates

Required in some cases.  Key or select from the calendar icon the Paid start and end dates.

Invoice Dates

Required in some cases.  Key or select from the calendar icon the Invoice start and end dates.

Bill Dates

Required in some cases.  Key or select from the calendar icon the Bill start and end dates.

Clearance Dates

Required in some cases.  Key or select from the calendar icon the Clearance start and end dates.

Bill Months

Required in some cases.  Key the Bill Months from and to dates.  The calendar icon is not applicable for Bill Months.

Previous collection

Check to use the Previous Collection if you are only reformatting the display.

Company/Office Selection

Buying

Default. Collects data for the Buying Office.

Owning

Collects data for the Owning Office.

Billing

Collects data for the Billing Office.

Paying

Collects data for the Paying Office.
