The Trending tab in the Buy Module allows you to compare the ratings, share, and other media specific figures for a certain day/time/demo combination for selected surveys.
To accomplish this, the Trending tab allows you to switch between two modes of operation: Trending mode and Estimating mode.
Trending mode is the default configuration and allows you to select one or more actual books to be used in retrieving historical statistics for calculating ratings.
Estimating mode allows you to switch to a research configuration and allows you to select one or more estimate books to be used in retrieving estimated statistics for calculating ratings.
Before selecting this tab, open or create a proposed worksheet.
When you first select the Trending tab, you'll see rows of data that are applicable to the media you're working with:
For television buys, you'll see RT/IM, Share, PVT/HUT, and PRGM rows for each station on the worksheet.
For radio buys, you'll see RT/IM, Share, AQH Persons, Cume, Cume Persons, and T/O (Turnover) rows for each station on the worksheet.
In the Worksheet column for each row you will find the applicable statistics from the worksheet.
You'll also see that the Demographic, Day/Time, Break Avg, and Est Book drop down lists contain the values that are valid for the open worksheet.
