Books On-Line Inquiry

Use this option to review information relating to currently loaded ratings books. Information includes details about spill markets, home markets, metering, stations, agency market codes, and rating service market codes. You may view information in four different ways: markets for a book, stations for a book and market, markets for a book and station, and books for a market.

All markets and stations covered by the selected ratings service are included in the displays, but you may only select those which have been defined for use in Broadcast using either the Market Definition or Station Definition options.

Books On-Line Inquiry Window

1. Key a Media code.

2. Key a Rating Service code.

3. Select one of the following items from the Inquiry Option drop down menu and key the appropriate code:

   • Show Markets for a Book and key a Book code.

     For each market measured by the selected book, this options shows the code and name defined for the market by the agency. If the market has not been defined by the agency in Market Definition, it shows the name from the ratings service.

   • Show Stations for a Book & Market and key Book and Market codes.

     This option shows stations that are measured by the specified book and assigned to the specified market by the ratings service or by the agency. For each station, it shows whether it is agency defined using Station Definition, whether this is the home market,and whether the market is metered.

   • Show Markets for a Book and Station and key Book and Station Band codes.

     For each market covered by the specified book and assigned to the specified station by the ratings service or by the agency, the options identifies the home market and indicates whether the market is metered.

   • Show Books for a Market and key a Market code.

     This option lists each book which measures the specified market for the specified ratings service.

4. Click the Next icon to display the requested information in the details window.
