This profile is hierarchical, meaning that its highest level (company/office/media) sets the standards and default values for the lower levels of the hierarchy (clients, estimates, and products within estimates). See Hierarchical Change for more information.
Follow these steps to define a company/office/media Forced Matching Profile:
Select Database|Forced Matching Profile.
Key the company/office and media for the profile being defined.
Click the Next icon
to display the Forced Matching Profile detail page.
Click the check box to display a check next to each criteria that may be overridden in Affidavit Matching. Click the <Fields> button at the bottom of this help page for more information on each field.
Click the Save icon
to save the settings.
Repeat the above steps for each company/office/media that requires a profile, then define profiles for any lower levels that will have different settings. Lower level profiles are not required if they are the same as the higher level profile.
To define lower level profiles:
Select Database|Forced Matching Profile.
Key the company/office, media, and all the lower level codes that apply. Note that you must define each level in order; client profile, client/product profile and then client/product/estimate profile.
Click the Next icon
to display the Forced Matching Profile detail page.
For each match criteria, accept the setting from the previous level or change it by clicking the check box to display or remove the check.
Click the Save icon
to save the settings.
