Populate CDB Cl/Pr from Fin/Pro

Depending on installation, your company may require client information to exist in both the Production Client Profile and the Media Client Profile, To save you time, this option allows you to populate the Media Client Profile with information that you have set up in the Production Client Profile. The Production Client Profile must be set up first before you can use this option to populate the Media Client Profile.

Important: Before using this option, make sure your Production Client Profile includes addresses at every Client and Product level.

This option can produce up to two reports: One report describes any errors found during the population of records and lists clients which did not populate the Media Client Profile. You can manually correct records in both profiles separately or you can correct the records in the Production Client Profile then use this option again to populate the Media Client Profile. The other report describes warnings found during the population of records. Warnings are not severe enough to prevent the population but let you know that data that populated the Media Client Profile is not identical to the data in the Production Client Profile. To make any necessary corrections based on the listed warnings, use the Client Definition- Media option.

To populate the Media Client Profile for a specific owning company/office, key the Owning Company and Owning Office codes in the applicable fields. To populate the Media Client Profile for all owning companies/offices to which you have authority, leave the Owning Company and Owning Office fields blank.
To limit the population by specified clients, click the <Client> selection button and make selections from the displayed list. The Media Client Profile is populated with only the selected clients.
Click the Next icon to display the Printing Selections Window where you begin populating records and generating the reports.
