Network Definition

Use the Network Definition option to define network codes to be used in Broadcast. Network codes must be entered on the buy and must be the same as the Nielsen defined code to retrieve and post local cable ratings. Settings in Band Code Definition control whether network codes are required in entering and matching buys. If you import EDI affidavits, you may need to define EDI Network Translations.

To define a network code, select Database | Network Definition.

Network Definition Window

1. To add rows, select a number from the Rows to Add drop down and click the Add icon.

2. Key the network code in the Network field.

3. Key a description/name for this network in the Network Name field.

4. Click the Save icon  to save the network code definition.

Additional Options

• Remove an Network code

  To remove an network code that it is no longer needed:

  1. 1. Select the check box to the left of the network code to be removed.

     2. Click the Remove icon.

     3. Click the Save icon to save the change.
