EDI Network Translation

If the service you are using to import EDI affidavits uses different network codes than the codes defined in Network Definition, you can use the EDI Network Translation option to cross reference the imported codes to a valid Broadcast Network codes. These codes will be used to automatically translate the imported codes into the correct Broadcast Network codes on any affidavits imported in the future and also any awaiting correction in EDI Affidavit Correction.

To define a network code translation, select EDI | EDI Network Translation.

1. If a previously processed EDI upload file contained network codes that were not defined in Broadcast, those codes display.

2. Use the Add icon to add rows for defining translations for other network codes.

3. For each EDI Network code, key the Network code that should be used in Broadcast.

4. Click the Save icon to save the translations and use them to correct the Network code on any imported affidavits awaiting correction in EDI Affidavit Correction. If there are no other errors on an affidavit after the network code is corrected, the affidavit is available for matching in EDI Affidavit Entry/Match.
