Buying Unit Profile Definition Prompt

A buying unit (company and office) is the highest level of the Broadcast system hierarchy and sets the standards and default values for the lower levels of the hierarchy (clients, estimates, and products within estimates). You must complete the Buying Unit Profile Definition before you may use Broadcast for buying activities.

Keep in mind that you can not define a Buying Unit Profile until daypart groups are defined by media type in Daypart/Group Definition and demo codes defined in Demo Creation.

To begin, select Database | Buying Unit Profile Definition.

  1. By default, the Company and Office fields show the codes that you used to login. You can key or Lookup different Company and Office codes

  2. Click the Next icon to display the Buying Unit Profile Detail window.
