These rules apply to importing buys from a spreadsheet using Import Buys.
The data must be in spreadsheet or delimited file format (i.e. Excel documents should remain as .xls when saved)
Columns must be in the order shown in Import Buys Spreadsheet Format
Each column of the spreadsheet (rows A through CB) must be in text format.
Each column of the spreadsheet (rows A through CB) must be left justified.
Each buy line must have its own row on the spreadsheet.
If any of the fields below marked with ** change, a new row must be created. This makes it possible to have multiple medias, clients, products, estimates, and markets on the same spreadsheet.
No extra blank characters are allowed in a field (padding the field with extra spaces is not required). Example: If a field allows 2 characters and only 1 character is used, do not fill the second character with a blank.
The weeks records, columns AA - CA, represent all possible weeks in an estimate. Week 1 should hold the number of spots scheduled in week 1 of the estimate for that particular buy line. If no spots were purchased in the first week, leave blank. Week 2 should hold the number of spots scheduled in week 2 of the estimate for that particular buy line, etc. If the estimate is only 12 weeks long then only use weeks 1 - 12.
If the field is not required, it is not necessary to place a value in the field.
