Worksheet Description

The worksheet is used to enter and store all data about proposed and active buys. The worksheet is laid out like this diagram:

Worksheet Table. Identify the buy. Contains avail information and audience statistics. For error reporting purposes, rows are numbered starting with zero. Row numbers do not display on the worksheet but are referred to in error messages.

Schedule. Enter and maintain the number of spots for the buy line. Numbers in weeks outside the avails effective dates are displayed in pink.

Daypart Subgroup (Filtered) Enables you to combine specific dayparts into a subgroup to view goals and worksheet totals. This subgroup is created in the Daypart/Group Definition in the Database folder. Hover text displays the dayparts that are part of the subgroup. Dayparts on this schedule that are not part of the subgroup are combined under <Blank>.

Summary totals. Displays the totals for only the filtered items.

Functions. Contains the menus, text box and buttons that allow you to manipulate the worksheet. Refer to Worksheet Functions and Function Descriptions.

Worksheet totals. Shows totals for the entire worksheet, including items which are not displayed.

In the worksheet table and schedule are rows for each buy line and columns for the different kinds of information that is recorded about the buy. A cell is a box at the intersection of a column and row where you enter or view the data indicated by the column heading. Active buys display in darker yellow. Disabled cells display in black.

Use the Preferences tab to control the columns and rows that display in the Worksheet, Summary Totals and Worksheet Totals tables. It also allows you to control rounding on adjustments and set the default worksheet sort.
