The R&F tab in the Buy Module differs depending on whether the open worksheet is for a television or radio buy. For a radio buy, see Radio Reach and Frequency. For television, MediaBank A|V currently incorporates the IMS model for calculating television reach and frequency; therefore this tab is only available by subscription for television buys. Please contact your MediaBank Account Manager for details on how to subscribe and enable television Reach and Frequency in the Buy Module.
Once you have subscribed, follow these steps to use this tab:
Open an active or proposed buy with scheduled spots.
Select the R&F tab.
All dayparts and demos from the worksheet display. All dayparts and the primary demo are selected. To limit the data to be reviewed, select only the dayparts and demos you want to see.
To view reach for a different frequency, key the frequency.
Click <Retrieve> to retrieve the Reach and Frequency data for the selected dayparts and demos.
To view data for a different frequency, key the frequency and click <Refresh>. Note: Statistics are automatically refreshed when changes, deletions, or insertions are made on the worksheet that affect selections made on the R&F tab.
All fields are display only and may not be changed on this window. However, you may change the order in which the demos are displayed by clicking in the demo column header and dragging the columns for that demo.
To print the data as a report, click <Run Report>. A separate window displays the data formatted as the Television Reach and Frequency Report. Click the Print icon on the window to print the report.
If any cross references are not defined for a daypart or demo, an asterisk (*) displays next to the daypart and/or demo and Reach does not display for that daypart/demo. An error message displays at the bottom of the window to explain why that data is not retrieved. Contact MediaBank A|V Client Service regarding any missing cross references.
