These rules apply when you copy buys on a worksheet to another worksheet.
Use the <Copy to Proposed> button to copy buy lines on an existing active or proposed worksheet to a new proposed worksheet. Use the <Copy to Active> button to copy buy lines on an active worksheet to an active worksheet.
The Copy To company, office, media, client, product, estimate and market can remain the same as the original worksheet but the worksheet code must be different.
If you do not specify a station on the Copy From worksheet, all stations on that worksheet will be copied.
You may key a different market or station for the Copy To worksheet on the Start Up tab, but you must change the station(s) on the worksheet to match the Start Up tab before you may save the worksheet.
When you copy to an existing active worksheet the copied lines are added to the bottom of the worksheet.
When copying from and to a proposed worksheet, the existing estimated, share and PVT books display on the Start Up tab, but may be changed or deleted. You may also add additional books. The new buy will include all buy lines from the Copy From buy plus new buy lines for each additional book entered on the Start Up tab.
When copying from and to a proposed worksheet, you have the option of either retrieving audience figures for the books on the Start Up tab or copying ratings from the original worksheet wherever the demos are the same.
For any weeks (or days for a Daily worksheet) that are the same on both the Copy From and Copy To worksheet, the schedule is copied to the Copy To worksheet. If no weeks (days) are the same, you have the option of copying the schedule by week (day): Week (Day) 1 is copied to Week (Day) 1, Week (Day) 2 is copied to Week (Day) 2, etc.
If you are copying from a Weekly worksheet to a Daily worksheet, a buy on the first week of the buy is copied to a day in the first seven days of the buy schedule depending on the Day Pattern unless there are multiple days in the Day Pattern. For multiple days, the buys for the week are all copied to the first day of the Day Pattern.
Example: Weekly buy for week of June 20 through August 2, 2005 is being copied to Daily buy for July 4 through July 17, 2005. Spots on the first week with a Day Pattern of W are copied to July 6 (a Wednesday); spots on the first week with a Day Pattern of M W F are copied to July 4 (a Monday).
Makegoods are copied but not the corresponding reference number or comments.
Buy line comments are copied but not station comments.
Any buy lines that were deleted using the Delete function are not copied.
Tax amounts are not copied.
Any product split overrides are ignored.
Specials overrides are not copied.
If the Copy From and Copy To worksheets have different Week Start Days (variable weeks), you must change the Day Pattern on each buy line before saving the Copy To worksheet.
