Station Research Report Formats

These are descriptions of the formats available for the Station Research Report.

Standard Format. Prints ratings for each book within a time period.

The first column shows the daypart code, followed by the station and band code identification. Days and avails time-period are shown for each station within a daypart before the next daypart selected is printed. Each requested book is listed beneath the Book column along with programming.

A number in parentheses following the program title indicates that ratings are pure averages for two, three, or four weeks of the survey period. If there were quarter-hour interruptions, no number appears, but the system averages the quarter-hours of the "greatest run" programming to accurately calculate the average for that time period.

A blank line is provided for manually recording current programming for estimated ratings (identified by E preceding the book). If Buyer Estimate Detail was checked, other blank lines are provided for buyer's estimates (identified by B preceding the book).

Rating information is shown beneath Demo columns identified by appropriate prefixes for ratings (R), shares (S), impressions (I), or PVTs (P). Costs and their effective dates are shown in the next column if they were entered in Station Avails Entry.

If CPP Ranking Detail was checked, the CPP ranking is shown at the end of the listing of books beneath the primary demo CPP heading.

Avail Format. Includes ratings, shares, PVTs and, when station avails costs exist, CPP/CPM.

The heading shows the same information as the Standard format, but, in this report, share and PVTs/HUTs are shown for each demographic requested. In addition, CPP/CPM are also shown for each book if costs were entered in Station Avails Entry.

Competitive Format. Prints selected rating books across the page instead of down the page and prints a cumulative share total of all avail stations within a common avail time period. This format gives a better trending view of the books selected.

Includes a cumulative share total of all avail stations within a common avail time period so you can see the total share available from the selected stations within the time period. Actual books print in the order requested, and the estimated book prints after the last actual book. There is a page break between the detail for each demo.
