If you discover that an affidavit could not be successfully matched because it was entered with the wrong station, client, product, or estimate, you can use the <Copy> button, which is found on both the Affidavit Entry/Match and the Affidavit Entry/Match - EDI screens, to essentially create a new affidavit on the fly. More specifically, this procedure allows you to copy over the incorrect affidavit with the correct details.
To use the <Copy> button, return to the Affidavit Entry/Match or the Affidavit Entry/Match - EDI screen.
Fill in the Station/Band, Client, Product/Split, Estimate, Broadcast Month, and Affidavit Number fields.
Click the <Copy> button to display the Copy from box on the right side of the window.
Replace the incorrect details in the fields on the left with the correct details.
Click the Next icon to display the Affidavit Entry/Match detail window.
If you are copying an affidavit for the same client, product, estimate, station, rep, you will be prompted to delete the Copy From affidavit. Click <Yes> to delete the original affidavit being copied and display the detail window. Click <No> to abort the copy process. You may not copy a matched affidavit for the same client, product, estimate, station, rep.
