Status Icon

The Job Status icon, on the blue icon bar of all AdVault® applications, displays the View Active Jobs window showing the processing status of submitted jobs. The Job Name and Job Number (sequence number assigned to the job by the server) describe each individual job.  Connection identifies your User ID used by the server, an administrator might see *ALL displayed.

The various types of jobs and the status terms are described below.  Description may be blank, but may show an action that you need to take, such as displaying the message that may be waiting and taking the appropriate steps. The date and time display for each submitted job.

On this Active Jobs window, the Refresh icon updates the display with new jobs that have joined the queue, as well as updates the processing status of existing jobs. Click the Refresh icon as needed to show the most current job activity.

To view completed jobs as well: click in the All checkbox then click the Refresh icon to see all jobs.  To return to currently processing jobs, uncheck the All checkbox and click the Refresh icon.

Note: If you choose to Output to the Web Browser or Output as PDF, the report will not display on the View Active Jobs Window since the processing statuses take place as you wait for reports to display.

JOBQ

MSGW

JOBQ HELD

Both types of Message Waiting and JOBQ HELD alert you when a job has stopped processing or was placed on Hold. To see all related messages pertaining to a job with one of these statuses, click the radio button beside the Job Name then click the Next icon to display all messages.
