Client/Office Authorization

Use this option to give offices other than the owning company/office authority to a client. This allows the secondary office to buy for the client. In addition, you may then use Profiles Definition on the Media Accounting | Admin menu to define the secondary office as the billing and/or disbursing office for the client. To limit access to client data by user, use User Client Authorization.

To give an office authority to a client:

  1. Sign on to the client's owning company/office.

  2. Select Admin|Client/Office Authorization.

  3. Key the Client code and click the Next icon next.gif to display the Detail window.

  1. Click the Add icon add.gif one or more times to add one or more blank rows.

  2. For each office being given authority to this client, key the Company and Office codes.

  3. Click the Save icon save.gif to save.

To remove an authority:

  1. Follow the first three steps above, then click the check box to the left of each Company/Office authority to be removed.

  2. Click the Remove icon remove.gif.

  3. Click the Save icon to save the change and return to the previous page.
