Program Profile Definition Overview

Use the Program Profile Definition option to create or edit profiles for a program with estimated statistics to aid in negotiating buying activity. When a buy is created/updated, Network checks the profile to determine the statistic type stored and uses those statistics as the basis for calculating other values. To create a profile, you define:

You can enter more than one profile for a program so that you may develop different scenarios. For example, in the case where a program airs on both commercial and other cable networks. To facilitate this, the Program Profile Definition option sports a Copy feature that allows you use existing program profile data to create new profiles regardless of media, network/syndicator, program, or start/end dates.

In addition to creating program profiles and updating them one at time, you can create multiple program profiles using the Delay Update feature and then updating them all as a batch.

A program profile is company/office specific. You may not change or view a program profile created by a company/office for which you do not have authority.
