Request for Contract

When you clicked the <Request for Contract> button on the title bar of Package Definition, you can create a PDF document of that package to send to a network/cable vendor via e-mail. The vendor uses it to prepare your EDI contracts.

The package detail displays in table form in the upper half of the Request for Contract window.  

  1. Review carefully, then add any free-text commentary in the clear, white box.

  2. When finished, click the Printer icon.

  3. Your computer prints the doc to a PDF file which immediately displays as a PDF file on screen.

  4. Click the E-mail icon emailicon.gif to launch that window.

  5. On the E-mail window, key the recipient's e-mail address(es) in the box at left.  You may key additional comments in the box on the right.

  6. Key a subject line.

  7. Click the <Send E-mail> button to send this package contract PDF to the vendor.
