Estimate Definition

Use Estimate Definition to establish estimates for a client and its products. Although you may buy units for a client before adding products to the estimate, other functions such as product allocation, billing, and paying, cannot be done until products are added. There must be a Buying Profile, created in Maintain Buying Profile (22), for each product before the product estimate can be created.
  1. Key valid codes in the Media, Client, and Estimate fields.

CAUTION: Avoid All Special Characters

  1. When defining any unique code in Network, avoid all special characters, as they cause some reports from Cognos® to have problems.

  2. Click the Advance icon to display the Estimate Detail Screen.
