Active units. Required. When you change a Package code or select from a Lookup, for unsaved Active units, the changed Pkg# will be bold until you use the <Retrieve Defaults> to retrieve information for related fields from the package and buying profiles. You may select multiple package codes from the Lookup for Active units on the Start-Up tab. Multiple package codes display as *Mult.
If the program code or daypart is already assigned to the unit, the daypart is evaluated for the package. If the daypart is not on the list for the package or the program code, then the daypart cannot be used for the unit. If more than one daypart exists as a match for the program and package, you will see *Mult in the DP field.
As you add other buying information, these default values may change based on values in the Program profile and Product Estimate profile.
Once the worksheet is saved, you may not change Pkg# for active units. You would need to mark a unit as missed, preempted, or deleted. Then you are free to create a new unit in the desired package.
The package daypart must match at least one of the Program dayparts. If not, you cannot save this program package with the program code for this unit. You need to delete the units using the unmatched daypart and reenter the units after another package is assigned.
