Reset Password
To reset the Password and set up a new Password Hint to add security to the password process:
Click <Reset Password> to display a Reset Password prompt.
Click <OK> to display the Reset Password Window.
Key a Hint in the first field, then key the Answer to the hint. Example: Hint: Pet's Name. Answer: Sampson.
Click <Submit> to save your Hint and Answer. AdVault will send a new password to your email address.
The next time you need to reset your password, all you have do is key the Answer to your hint in order to get a new password. If you forget the Answer to your hint, then you will have to call Mediaplex Operations staff to send you a password.
Changing the Hint Answer in Central Database
An additional function that allows you to reset your password hint is handled in Central Database on the Admin menu. If you do not have access to the Central Database, see your Database Administrator.
Forgot Password
If you forget your password, you may click the <Forgotten Your Password?> button on the logon screen to view the instructions for sending an e-mail to security@mediaplex.com.
