Network Translation

The Network Translation option enables you to specify the network/syndicator codes defined in NETWORK that correspond to the codes used by the trading partners.

1. You may add or delete from the list of EDI Media codes. Key a code, up to two characters.

2. Add to or delete from the list of EDI Net/Syn codes processed by the system display. Key a code, up to six characters.

3. The AdVault Media code from the Media Translation Table that corresponds to the EDI Media code shown displays. If this field is blank, you must access the Media Translation Table and define the media code before you may key the Net/Syn field on this screen. You may key a one or two-character AdVault media code from the Media Translation Table.

4. For each EDI network/syndicator code, key the corresponding Net/Syn code, up to five characters, that is defined in Network.

5. For each EDI program code, if the AdVault Program code field is blank, key or select from a lookup the corresponding AdVault Network Program Code, up to 10 characters.

6. You may also click to select multiple programs, then use the <Change Values> fields to do a mass code change in for the Media, Network and Program codes.

7. Click the Save icon.
