Buying Profile Def. Fields

Use the dropdown to choose from these three:

Half Hour time period data is used primarily for posting Cable.

Program Codes posts actuals based on the rating service's tape code. It is chiefly used for Network or Syndication.

No Posting. Used for cable, prevents posting of actual audience figures for cable buys.

Displays Estimated, if no Actuals. It uses estimated audience figures from the buy if actuals are not yet loaded.

Click the dropdown to change to Actuals Only, which means they are taken from the Nielsen tape.

Key the number of decimal places to use.

Key the number of years to average HUTs. This value defaults to the estimate level.

Use the dropdown to select the time period for HUT. Weekly HUTs is the default.

Key or choose the code for the calendar to use. (For example, B might represent Broadcast Calendar.)

Key the code to indicate whether Rotator HUTs are based on the rating service's weekly averages or individual day records.

Choose from six time-shifted measurement possibilities.

...where SD = Same Day.

Click to indicate that a daypart is required at the estimate level.

Click to check if the value keyed for the actual cost on a buy should default to the Assigned Cost.

Accept the Product Type of GE for general or key or select another product type.

At the Client Level, define the demos to be used in the priority to be used.

At the Product Level, you may delete any demo code, add new codes, or accept the defaults from the Client Level. To add even more demos than the available fields, choose from the dropdown the number of rows to add. Click the Add icon.

Fill in the new demos.

To delete demo records without replacing the demo, with your cursor in a row, click the Trash can icon.

Reporting Selections (Company/Office and Client Level; display only at Product Level)

Key the digits (15, 30, 60, etc.) to indicate how ratings are to be adjusted based on unit length.

If you leave the 0 default, then ratings are not adjusted.

If you leave the 0 default, impressions are not adjusted.

Click the checkbox to indicate that integration cost should be included in the calculations for cost per point (CPP) and/or cost per thousand (CPM).

Key or select the code for the calendar type to be used.

Click checkbox if preempted units should be included in reporting.

Click checkbox to count estimated bonus impressions in on reports.

Click to choose to count estimated bonus ratings on reports.

You may post using commercial minute average data streams. Only one choice is allowed from all selections as shown on the chart in this profile option. Refer to details in this Average Commercial Minute topic.

Key or select the ratings, in priority order, that you want used for this client. Any Demographic fields you leave blank will not be immediately available at the Product Level. However, you may add more rows at the Product Level.

Displays the list of products defined for this company in the Central Database. To select for this Office Level profile, highlight then click the forward arrow -->.

Displays the products that you dragged from the Available Products list using the --> button.

To remove a selected product from this list, click to highlight the product, then click the <-- arrow.
