Disabling and Enabling Cells, Columns, or Rows

On a proposed worksheet, you may disallow entry of spots for a buy/week(day) by disabling a cell, column, or row. The background of a disabled cell,column, or row is black. The Tiered Rates worksheet function can also be used to disable cells.

To disable a cell, column, or row:

  1. Right click in the cell (PC) or Ctrl double-click (MAC) and select the Disable command.

  2. When the submenu appears, select Cell, Column, or Row.

  3. The cell, column or row turns black and cannot be edited.

To re-enable the cell, column, or row:

  1. Right click/Ctrl double-click in a black cell and select the Disable command.

  2. When the submenu appears, select Cell, Column, or Row.

  3. The cell, column, or row turns back to white and can again be edited.
