Once time is submitted, the employee or surrogate may still open the timesheet, but may not edit the time that was submitted. To correct any information that has been submitted, choose one of the following.
If the time has not yet been posted, you may:
If the time has not been approved, you may unsubmit it. Open the timesheet and click the checkbox for the day(s) of the week that has submitted time you want to reset then click the Unsubmit icon. Afterwards, Submitted time is changed back to New. To unsubmit all submitted time for a week, just click the Totals checkbox and then click the Unsubmit icon or use the ALT-Y hotkey. The status for all submitted time is changed back to New for the displayed week.. You may then correct the timesheet.
Ask your manager to either correct the time or reject the timesheet so that you can correct it.
If you have manager authority to yourself, you may reject or edit your time using the Approval Process. Refer to Using Approve/Reject.
Open the timesheet and add time by entering and submitting another row with the same client/product/brand/job/tran/work code. Each row is always shown separately on your timesheet, as entered. However, only the net amount of time shows on reports in Production. You cannot subtract time from an unposted row.
If the time has been posted, there are only two ways to change the time in AdClock®. If you have Adjustment authority, see Surrogate Time Adjustment. Otherwise, follow these steps to adjust time:
Open the timesheet in Timesheet Entry or Surrogate Entry.
Add another row for the same client/product/brand /job/tran/work code.
Add to the amount of time already posted by keying the additional time.
Subtract from the amount of time already posted by keying time with a minus in front of the number. An error message displays if the negative time exceeds the amount of time that has been posted, if the negative time client/prod/division does not match the original, or if the negative time entry date does not match the original.
Click the Submit checkbox above the Total column, then click the Save/Submit icon . Each row is always shown separately on your timesheet, as entered. However, only the net amount of time shows on reports in Production.
